BASEBALL INFORMATION

INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE BASEBALL

         Local league play begins in May. This is baseball for girls and boys between the ages of 7 and 8. A player must turn 7 prior to May 1 and not turn 9 prior to May 1 to be eligible to play. All games are played at Lakeview Park. The maximum number of teams in this league is 16 and the maximum number of players per team is 14.

Entry Fee - $55.00 Per Player

MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL

         Local league play begins in May. This is baseball for girls and boys between the ages of 9 and 10. A player must turn 9 prior to May 1 and not turn 11 prior to May 1 to be eligible to play. All games are played at East Frankfort Park. The maximum number of teams in this league is 15 and the maximum number of players per team is 14. For showcase information go to Baseball/Softball.

CAL RIPKEN LEAGUE BASEBALL

       Local league play begins in May. This is baseball for girls and boys between the ages of 11 and 12. A player must turn 11 prior to May 1 and not turn 13 prior to May 1 to be eligible to play. All games will be played at Paul Weddle Field and Capitol View Park. The maximum number of teams is 15 and the maximum number of players per team is 12. BABE RUTH BASEBALL

         Local league play begins in May. This is baseball for boys between the ages of 13 and 15. A player must turn 13 prior to May 1 and not turn 16 before May 1 to be eligible to play. All games are played at Capitol View Park.

Entry Fee - $75.00 Per Player

          
EAST FRANKFORT KIWANIS BASEBALL TOURNAMENT

       This is a double elimination Little League Tournament co-sponsored with the East Frankfort Kiwanis Club. There are 8 teams entered in this tournament and it is held the end of July at Paul Weddle Field. It is not affiliated with National Little League. For further information, contact the Parks and Receation office at 875-8572.


 
Sign-ups for all leagues are late February
to early March. All Youth Baseball and Softball should
be finished no later than the first of August.
                                                                            
                              
GIRLS SOFTBALL INFORMATION

 INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE SOFTBALL

       Local league play begins in May. This is for girls between the ages of 7 and 8. A player must turn 7 prior to January 1 and not turn 9 prior to January 1 to be eligible to play.  All games are played at Lakeview Park.

       Local league paly begins in May. This is for girls between the ages of 9 and 10. A player must turn 9 prior to January 1 and not turn 11 prior to January 1 to be eligible to play. All games are played at Lakeview Park.

LITTLE LEAGUE SOFTBALL

       Local play begins in May. This is for girls between the ages of 11 and 12. A player must turn 11 prior to January 1 and not turn 13 prior to January 1 to be eligible to play. All games are played at Lakeview Park.

Entry Fee - $55.00 Per Player

13-16 YEAR OLD SOFTBALL

       Local league play begins in May. This is for girls between the ages of 13 and 16. A player must turn 13 prior to January 1 and not turn 17 prior to January 1 to be eligible to play. All games are played at Lakeview Park.

Entry Fee - $75.00 Per Player

 

ADULT SOFTBALL

       Local league play will begin in April. To be eligible to play you must beat least 16 years of age. There is a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night league for men, women, Industrial, Church, and co-eds. All games are played at Capitol View Park. The maximum number of teams in each league is 8, and the maximum number of players per team is 20.

Entry Fee - $350.00 per team

                                               TENNIS INFORMATION

       Tennis enthusiasts are invited to participate in our numerous tennis programs available for all skill levels. We offer (2) three week long tennis workshops. We also offer an eight week tennis league, singles and doubles, for men and women. Each year we also host (2) tennis tournaments, one in the spring and the other in late summer. We are a member association with the USTA and all instructors are certified USTA tennis instructors.

VOLLEYBALL INFORMATION

This program offers a Summer League which begins mid May. Leagues consist of Men’s and Women’s Leagues, and Co-Ed Sixes League for team participation. All matches are played at the Sand Volleyball Courts located in Juniper Hill Park.
