Capitol View Park

Summer Hours: 8:00 A.M. - 11:00 P.M. (April-October)
(Except during softball tournaments)
Winter Hours (November-March)
All Parks Close at Dark
 

This 150 acre park provides a beautiful scenic view of the Kentucky River and is great for nature lovers. It is located off the East-West Connector at Glenns Creek Road and offers the following facilities:

  • 2 Basketball Courts
  • 4 Lighted Softball Fields
       Legends & Williams are Upper Softball Fields
       Pewitt & Sullivan are Lower Softball Fields
  • 2 Babe Ruth/High School Baseball Fields
  • 1 Youth Football Field
  • 1 Lighted Soccer Field (Sower Field)
  • 1 High School Soccer Field (No lights)
  • 2 Select Soccer Fields (No lights)
  • Nature Trails
  • Off-Track Bicycle Trail (5 miles)
  • Picnic Facilities
  • 2 Shelters-Upper has grills-restrooms-no electricity                         Lower has grills-no electricity (50 People)

There is a full-time employee who lives on the premises.
